This Refund Policy describes how Codebind ("we", "us", or "our") handles refunds for paid gitbase services purchased through this website (collectively, the "Service").

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid offerings such as the Managed plan and any one-time charges for custom work or add-ons. The open-source tier of gitbase is free and does not involve payments or refunds.

2. Managed subscriptions

Managed plans are billed annually at the price shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

  • 14-day cooling-off period — If you are a new Managed customer, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment, provided that we have not yet begun substantial setup or deployment work on your behalf.
  • After setup has started — Once we have started configuring, deploying, or customizing your environment, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you cancel, access and support continue until the end of your current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time.
  • Renewals — Annual renewal charges are non-refundable once the renewal period has begun, except where required by applicable law.

3. Custom work and add-ons

One-time fees for custom features, integrations, or other project-specific work are non-refundable once the agreed work has been delivered or substantially completed, unless otherwise stated in writing before payment.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us at codebind.io with:

  • Your name and the email address used for the purchase
  • The date and amount of the payment
  • A brief explanation of your request

We will review eligible requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.

5. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We are happy to help resolve billing issues directly.

6. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
